Since 2012, jewelry designer Monica Sordo has developed a discourse with costume jewelry that translates into a powerful language: the pulse of a metropolis, accumulated from the cities in which she has lived. Monica was born and raised in Caracas, surrounded by metals in her father’s industrial design workshop. Monica gained experience working at Marie Claire Spain, in several workshops for IED, and at Christian Louboutin. All pieces are gold plated bronze and fabricated entirely by hand. She employs craftsmen in her native Venezuela, who maintain her high standards of design and manufacture.
