Jonathan Simkhai's Sama dress is gorgeous and looks far more expensive than its price tag! The material is a recycled crepe which is a plus since it's sustainable. The crepe is a sturdy material unlike other crepes that are thin and frequently see-through. The crepe drapes beautifully from the shoulders through the bodice and skirt. Despite being ivory it is not at all see-through - often a problem with light-colored crepes. The dress design is stunning and will flatter most body types. Although fitted through the bodice, it isn't a tight, bodycon fit. The sleeve length is also very flattering as it is long enough to give my arms an elegant slim look. The tailoring is really incredible with details at the shoulders and the pleating in the front of the skirt. This is truly an investment piece that can be worn year-round. I am so happy with my purchase. For the record, I am 64, 5'2"and weight 115. Being on the short side, I did need to have the dress shortened a bit, but most of my skirts, pants and dresses need to be shortened!
