Material-wise, right out of the box, you'll realize it is very well-made. The upper is that kind of material you'll want in a pair of white sneakers because you can easily wipe it clean when it gets dirty w/out having to worry if you're going to damage it. It is very stiff, that's why the tongue has caused blisters in both my feet just above the instep, just like the others, that even after more than 10 times of wearing it the whole day, it seems to me I have not yet broken it in. At first I was hesitant because the design seems to be bulky esp for someone like me whose feet are narrow and long (w/c means bulky footwear almost always makes me look like a clown) but surprisingly, this pair somehow still appeared proportionate to my legs (it even had that slimming effect once worn, weird but nice) . A big factor of w/c is I guess the most important thing you have to know about the V-10 - it can be your best sneakers ever in terms of comfort IF, AND ONLY IF, it fits you the right way. I am an 8 or 8.5 in sneakers, depends on the brand and style, so I first got IT 38 - w/c fit fine even w/ medium-think socks but my big toe still hits the front of the shoe when I walk. Got the IT 39, w/c would've been perfect but it was too long and bulky for me so I got stuck w/ 38. If I have to say it in other words - the comfort comes from its thick and solid sole and not because the shoe seems to 'hug' your foot so if your toe does not hit the tip, you can definitely wear this pair the whole day, walking & even running, on consecutive days. Because the 38 on me does not 100% fit, I can't wear it for consecutive days. Long story short, just like any other pair of shoes, it's not for everyone. It will be perfect for you if it fits you PERFECTLY - all things considered, no compromises. Otherwise, it means your search for your perfect sneakers has not yet ended so keep searching!
